On this trip you will travel to southern Lao and the centre of the gently flowing Mekong River to stay on the peaceful Island Don Daeng.

Trip notes & Inclusions:

As each program is unique, so to are the tours and costs. As a rule of thumb programs cost between $45 to $ per day per person and varies greatly due to number of participants, length of program, services required, typ of sightseeing and accommodations provided. Our school tours usually include two teachers free of charge.

Students on this Mekong Educational Adventure will gain an invaluable insight into the histories and natural landscapes that have created such cultural diversity in this UNESCO world-class heritage site. With the our Volunteer and Educational Travel (VET) team of experts your students will gain confidence as they successfully learn about life on our planet and themselves.  All this as you connect with a Mekong community in a living classroom of comfort and style.
    
Accommodation is provided at Ban Hua Don Daeng comfortable and clean community lodge and is supported by the Lao National Tourism Authority & Asian Development Bank Mekong Tourism Development Project (a local poverty alleviation project)
    
Southern Laos holds a wonderful array of sightseeing including the pre-Angkorian ruins of Wat Phou, towering waterfalls, elephant treks, biodiversity protected areas including the endangered freshwater Mekong dolphins.

- Items of a personal nature such as beverages at homestay
